What's Included

Eligible participants will receive:

  • A professional water leak inspection/test performed by our technicians;
  • Testing designed to identify potential water ingress or active leaks within the caravan structure.

Definition of a Water Leak / Water Ingress Zone

For the purpose of this promotion, a "water leak" or "water ingress zone" is deemed to exist where:

  • The caravan is internally pressurised during testing; and
  • A soap solution is applied externally to seals, joins, fittings, mouldings, penetrations, or other areas of the caravan; and
  • Visible bubbles form or expand on the exterior surface during testing.

The appearance of bubbles indicates air escaping from the caravan structure and is considered by Caravan Health Inspections to be evidence of a potential water ingress point or leak pathway.

If one or more water ingress zones are identified during testing, the participant acknowledges and agrees that:

  • A leak has been identified; and
  • The full inspection/testing fee of $500 AUD becomes immediately payable for the service performed.

No Leak, No Charge

If no water ingress zones or leaks are identified during testing, the participant will not be charged.

If any leak or water ingress zone is identified, the full $500 AUD inspection fee applies.

Repairs Not Included

This promotion covers inspection/testing only.

Any repair work, reports, replacement parts, resealing, or rectification services are separate and charged additionally unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Inspection Limitations

  • The inspection is a diagnostic assessment only and is not a structural warranty, certification, or guarantee against future leaks.
  • Some hidden, intermittent, or developing leaks may not be detectable during testing.
  • Caravan Health Inspections is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mould, timber rot, corrosion, hidden defects, or issues discovered after inspection.

Participant Responsibilities

Participants must:

Leak Test & Repair Disclaimer

Due to the nature of caravans and recreational vehicles, movement, vibration, temperature changes, weather exposure, and structural flex can affect seals and joints. Leaks may develop or reoccur after the vehicle has been moved, used, or exposed to varying conditions. While every reasonable effort has been made to identify existing leaks and complete any authorised repair work, no guarantee can be given regarding the future condition of the vehicle or prevention of future leaks.

Scope of Inspection & Repairs

Inspection procedures are limited to accessible areas only. Where authorised, repair work, including removal and replacement of damaged sealants, silicone, or related components, may be carried out. No dismantling, removal of fixtures, or destructive testing has been performed unless otherwise stated. Areas that are inaccessible, obstructed, sealed, or concealed are excluded.

Testing Limitations

Inspection results may be affected by environmental conditions at the time of testing, including temperature, humidity, and weather conditions. Some leaks or defects may only become apparent under conditions not present during the inspection or repair process.

Pre-Existing & Concealed Conditions

This service may not identify latent defects, concealed damage, deterioration, or issues within structural cavities or inaccessible areas that are not visible or detectable at the time of inspection or repair.

Owner Responsibility

The owner remains responsible for ongoing maintenance, regular inspections, and timely repair of seals, fittings, silicone, and structural components. Failure to maintain the vehicle may result in future water ingress or deterioration.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from the inspection or repair service is limited to the cost of the services provided. No liability is accepted for indirect, consequential, future, concealed, or pre-existing damage, including but not limited to water ingress, mould, timber rot, delamination, or structural deterioration.
