Inspection Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

This inspection and any accompanying report are provided as a general assessment of the condition of the caravan at the time and date of inspection. The inspection is based on the inspector's reasonable observations of areas, components and systems that are accessible and able to be inspected at that time.

While all reasonable care and skill are exercised in carrying out the inspection, the inspection is not exhaustive and does not constitute a warranty, guarantee or certification that the caravan is free from defects, faults, damage or future problems.

The Client acknowledges that, due to the nature of caravan inspections, some defects or conditions may not be identified. This may include, without limitation, hidden or concealed defects, intermittent faults, internal damage, defects located behind walls, cabinetry, flooring, linings or other inaccessible areas, problems that are not apparent at the time of inspection, and matters that may be overlooked as a result of reasonable human error.

Unless expressly stated in writing, the inspection does not involve dismantling, destructive testing, removal of fixtures or fittings, or specialist testing of components that require assessment by a licensed or appropriately qualified tradesperson or technician.

The inspection report represents the inspector's opinion of the caravan's condition based solely on what was reasonably observable and accessible at the time of inspection. Conditions may change after the inspection, and no representation is made regarding the caravan's future condition, reliability, performance or service life.

The decision whether to purchase, reject, negotiate the price of, repair, use or otherwise deal with the caravan remains solely with the Client. The inspection report is intended to assist the Client in making that decision and must not be regarded as a recommendation or guarantee that the caravan is suitable for purchase.

If the Client elects to purchase the caravan, they do so based on their own assessment and acceptance of the risks associated with purchasing a new or used caravan. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the inspector and Caravan Health Inspections accept no liability for defects, faults, damage, deterioration, repair costs, consequential loss or other issues discovered after the inspection that were not identified in the inspection report.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, condition, warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.

By engaging the inspection service and/or relying upon the inspection report, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted the scope and limitations of the inspection described above.
